This commissioned piece is a portrait of a beloved companion named Blue.
Some stories begin with a pencil. Others take shape through memory, patience, and a single continuous wire. From drawing to wire, the sculpture translates a familiar presence into a lasting form—a tribute to a dog who was part of the home and part of the heart.

THE GIRAFFE
This is a commissioned piece created as a personal gift, inspired by a shared affection for giraffes.
The sculpture is shaped from a single continuous brass wire, forming a three-dimensional figure with subtle, almost jewelry-like precision in its lines and transitions. The animal stands calm and steady, its posture expressing quiet balance, elegance, and natural harmony.

This one began with a conversation. Raphael once told me that watching manta rays felt like seeing something fly beneath the water. That image stayed. They do not rush or resist—they glide.
Wide. Calm. Almost weightless.
This piece does not try to capture a manta ray.
It holds that moment—when something passes above you in silence.

THE THINKER
The Thinker has inspired me since the first time. I encountered it. The iconic pose one hand resting on the chin, the body gathered inward captures a powerful sense of reflection and introspection. Even at first glance, the figure is immediately recognizable.
My version reinterprets this classical image on a more intimate scale. Shaped from a single steel wire, with a small copper detail suggesting the hair, the sculpture preserves the essential gesture through a continuous line.

DAVID
David is one of the great masterpieces of Renaissance art, sculpted from a single block of marble and admired for its anatomical precision, remarkable detail, and the elegance of its contrapposto. This iconic work inspired me to create my own version in wire.
More than a replica, this sculpture is a tribute to balance—both physical and mental—to the focused tension of a warrior before the most important battle of his life against Goliath. The figure is shaped from a single continuous wire, with only a small joint at the hip.

JELLYFISH
This is a commissioned piece created as a birthday gift, inspired by a shared fascination with jellyfish.
The sculpture is shaped from aluminum, steel, and copper wire, forming a light, suspended structure that suggests fluid movement and fragility. Its form explores transparency and rhythm, capturing the quiet suspension of an organism that exists between structure and drift.
The inspiration comes from the so-called “immortal jellyfish” (Turritopsis dohrnii), a species capable of reverting to an earlier stage of its life cycle under certain conditions.

DISCOBOLUS
Discobolus, created by Myron in the 5th century BC, is a classical symbol of strength, beauty, and balance. It is celebrated for capturing the moment just before the discus throw, where power and control meet in perfect equilibrium.
Reinterpreting this figure in wire was about preserving its essential qualities through my own language of construction. Using a single continuous thread of wire moving fluidly across planes, I aimed to retain its sense of dynamism, proportion, and inner calm.
The sculpture reflects the same tension between motion and stillness—the athlete’s composed presence at the peak of physical focus.
