A Sketching Journey: From Page to Screen
Since childhood, drawing has been my primary language. While others took notes in school, I filled my books with faces. My father's consistent advice was, “never stop drawing”. And though the frequency varied—sometimes lots, sometimes little, occasionally none—I never truly stopped.
As an adult, I worked in the world of graphic design for many years. Amidst the industry's relentless pace and the rise of artificial intelligence, I slowly began to feel lost—like a drop of water in an ocean: indistinguishable, just another entity trapped in a rhythm that offered little room for meaningful moments and memorable imperfections.
The Reconnection: Wire Work
One day, while visiting my parents, I rediscovered a few wire sculptures I had made years before. There, intertwined within those metallic threads, I saw something that time and self-doubt hadn't managed to erase: my individual stroke, my sensibility, my distinct perspective of the world.
It felt like a deep personal reunion. That precise moment became a crucial turning point: I chose that my path would not be defined by competing with digital immediacy but rather by bringing drawings to life in the air.
My New Medium: Drawing in Air
The wire has become my new pencil. Every piece originates as a mental sketch but instead of remaining fixed on paper, it lifts into space. Using pliers and my hands, the drawing gains volume, transforming into a floating line. What was previously flat now breathes. These are three-dimensional drawings—delicate yet firm—telling stories in silence.
The Equilibrium
Working with wire involves simultaneous struggle and surrender. I start with clarity, navigate moments of frustration, and almost always doubt that I’ll be able to successfully close the figure. But ultimately, the piece finds its balance, delivering something far greater than a sculpture: it gives a piece of myself back to me.
Through this process, I understood that I am not creating “art” in the conventional sense. I am crafting unique artistic objects, born of patience, slowness, and human effort.
It was in the wire that I found my footing.

Having defined my identity as an artist, it is now my passion to share it with you. The wire is simple, standard in design. But it can be bent to help us communicate.
